Synoshi UV light device is separate from Synoshi Power Spin Scrubber, meaning it works on its own with its own battery.
The UV light emits ultraviolet (UV) light at a 365nm wavelength, which is in the long-wave UV-A range. While it's not visible to the naked eye, this wavelength causes certain materials to fluoresce—they absorb the UV light and emit visible light in return.
Many substances - especially organic residues like body oils, soap scum, skin cells, pet messes, mold spores, and food splatters—contain compounds that naturally fluoresce under 365nm UV light. When illuminated, these hidden contaminants glow faintly (often bluish, whitish, or yellow-green), making them much easier to spot.
This allows you to:
- See dirt that isn’t visible in normal lighting
- Identify problem areas before and after cleaning
- Confirm thorough cleaning in hygiene-critical spaces (like bathrooms, kitchens, or baby areas)
Synoshi UV light does not sanitize. The UV light in this device is for visual detection only, not for disinfection. Think of it like a detective tool. It lets you "see the unseen", helping target grime more accurately, improve cleaning effectiveness, and give you confidence that the job is truly done.
